Family planning and education
We are currently preparing for an upcoming project on the island of Bohol in late October/early November.2025.
One of the challenges in Bohol is the large numbers of teenage pregnancies.
We are cooperating with the health office in the province to bring these numbers down.
Dr. Med. Maria Lisa Odland will do this training for doctors, midwives, high school leaders and youth leaders this fall.

About iHelpFriendship
iHelpFriendship is a charity organization that aims to provide humanitarian aid to those in need. Founded in 2012 by Pastor Gunnar Kristiansen, our organization works alongside residents of Bohol and across the Philippines to develop need-based projects that provide assistance to those who need it most.

Upcoming Projects to Fund
Several upcoming projects need funding, including supporting more than 100 students attending vocational high school, feeding malnourished children, and giving out rice and medication to elders. A significant problem is the high number of teenage pregnancies. In Bohol alone, more than 3,000 per year. The youngest of these mothers are between 10 and 14 years old, and many die during childbirth. Abortion is absolutely forbidden in this country.
